Why do honey not expire?

A food goes bad if microorganisms attack it. Microorganisms atttack a food item if it has moisture content. Fortunately there is no moisture content in honey. If a microorganism attacks honey, the sugar content in honey absorbs all the moisture content in the microorganisms. Thus, preventing itself from going bad. In addition, honey has anti microbial agents that act like an immune for the honey. It does microorganisms to grow. Thus, honey does not expire for a very very long time!
